I am currently an undergraduate student at Georgia Tech studying Biomedical Engineering, and I have taken a strong range of math, science, and writing courses. My academic background has helped me build skills in biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, and problem solving. Because I am still a student myself, I understand how overwhelming certain subjects can feel at first, and I know how helpful it is to have someone explain difficult ideas in a simple and patient way.

I have experience helping other students and younger learners through different teaching and mentoring roles. I have worked with students in group settings, one on one conversations, and informal tutoring situations where I helped explain homework problems, review class material, and prepare for exams. I have also served in leadership and mentoring roles, including helping freshmen students adjust to college and teaching younger girls through volunteer/community experiences. These opportunities taught me how to communicate clearly with students of different ages and learning styles.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. I like to break problems down step by step, ask guiding questions, and use examples that connect to the student’s everyday life. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, even if they feel confused or behind. My goal is to help each student build confidence, improve their study habits, and leave every session feeling like the material makes more sense than it did before.
