Hi, my name is Tamika. I have over 15 years experience instructing students and over 5 years experience tutoring students from Pre-K to college age. I have a Master's Degree in Education and I am a Georgia Certified Teacher. I am a compassionate person and I have a heart for children and education. I am certified in Special Education General Curriculum and the Special Education content areas of Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.
My specialty is Mathematics, which I have experience teaching, ranging from Basic Elementary Math to High school Algebra and High school Geometry. I took advanced Math college courses up to Infinite Series and 3-Dimensional Geometry and Calculus II. I have also taken courses on how to effectively and efficiently teach and tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in Math. Although, math is my specialty, I can also effectively and efficiently teach other subjects I am certified in by the state of Georgia and certified in through the tutoring company, Wyzant. I can also effectively teach writing, which is one of my passions.
In addition, I have my own personal copy of a background check with a clear and safe record from the State of Georgia, as well as, the one that is on file with Wyzant. It's important to know that your child is safe, especially due to the tragic events occurring in this world to our children.

They are our future and the younger we can reach them to teach them now the more academically advanced they will be to be prepared to succeed as growing adults for the future. And I can get the job done to help prepare them now and for the future. It is crucial to start teaching children as young as infants because the younger they are the more they soak up information like sponges. It is also important to teach them to excel now to be able to thrive beyond competence in this fast pace world as adults.
This is my philosophy of teaching: Establish
