I bring a strong and well rounded background in mathematics education that allows me to support learners at every level. My foundation began early, completing honor level geometry and the full algebra track in high school, which positioned me to skip basic college math entirely. From there, I expanded my expertise by tutoring every math course offered at both the undergraduate and post graduate levels, working one on one with students who needed everything from foundational support to advanced problem solving strategies.
My experience isn't limited to older learners. I spent five years as the Assistant Director of a childcare learning center, where I worked closely with students from Pre-K through 5th grade in both group and individualized settings. This role strengthened my ability to break down concepts for young minds, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive, encouraging environment. I also served as a tutor for a local Georgia company, providing one on one math instruction and helping students build confidence and mastery through personalized attention.
Across all these experiences, my teaching philosophy has remained consistent: I connect each lesson to something meaningful in the student's world. Whether it's relating fractions to a favorite hobby or linking algebraic thinking to real-life decision making, I believe students learn best when the material feels relevant and accessible. This approach allows me to meet learners where they are, build genuine understanding, and help them grow into confident, capable problem solvers.

Elementary (K-6th)

I bring a deep and versatile math background that began with completing honor‑level geometry and the full algebra track in high school, which allowed me to skip basic college math entirely. My experience tutoring every level of undergraduate and post‑graduate math has strengthened my ability to break concepts down clearly and adapt to different learning needs. I also spent five years as Assistant Director at a childcare learning center, where I taught Pre‑K through 5th grade students in both group and one‑on‑one settings, helping young learners build confidence and foundational skills. No matter the age or level, my teaching approach is always to connect each lesson to something meaningful in the student’s world so the material feels relevant, engaging, and easy to understand.
