I have a Georgia certification for Paraprofessionals and an Associate's degree from NYC Art Institute. I currently work with 6th and 7th-grade students with special needs and classroom accommodations. The educational subjects I assist with are ELA, Science, and Social Studies. While living in Texas, I was a substitute teacher for 4 years to students from K-12. I have worked with and currently work with students in a classroom setting, one-on-one and in small groups.
As a paraprofessional and Inclusion teacher, I have supported diverse learners in developing their English language and literacy skills across multiple grade levels. I work closely with classroom teachers to implement differentiated instruction that meets the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles. My experience includes assisting with reading comprehension, writing development, and vocabulary enrichment for both general education and special education students. Through collaboration and individualized support, I help ensure that all students can access the curriculum and succeed in English language arts.
