I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a Master of Arts in Secondary English Education. I am certified in P-12 ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) and 6–12 English. Over the past three years, I have taught high school ESOL students, primarily ages 15 to 19, in a classroom setting. My instructional approach emphasizes differentiated instruction, scaffolded support, and culturally responsive teaching to meet the diverse linguistic and academic needs of English language learners.
In addition to my secondary education experience, I have also taught at the college level, serving as an instructor at Georgia Military College for courses such as World Literature and English 1101 (Introduction to Composition). This experience has given me a strong foundation in both secondary and post-secondary instruction, and I adapt my methods to support students across a wide range of academic levels and backgrounds.
