I am fluent with advanced reading, writing, and verbal communication, and I specialize in conversational skills. I've taught language (and music) in classrooms, private lessons, and abroad. I've also worked as a professional interpreter and in roles requiring fluency, including the director of music for a Spanish-speaking church and a reading tutor.
I hold a BA in Spanish from Oglethorpe University. I earned a certificate in Spanish translation/interpretation from Georgia State University, where I also earned my master's in public administration with a focus on non-profits, management, and finance.
I am an extremely gregarious and positive person, and my passion and sharp Spanish skills make me an excellent tutor. I put emphasis on practical communication, everyday conversational skills, and the ability to improvise.
