My name is Anthony C. I recently retired from active duty following a 25 year career in law enforcement, 20 of which were completed as a detective in the Criminal Investigation Division. Educating students, cadets, colleagues, and community groups regarding the various applications of public safety continues to be a personal practice since becoming a New York State Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician in the early 80's. My education and professional goals continued to strengthen while serving in the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist, and have culminated with serving my community as a law enforcement professional.
My Criminal Justice teaching attributes are honed through having worked in the position of a Field Training Officer in which practical education is conducted while on-duty, by assisting Criminal Justice students while completing their internships, and by providing continued education training to colleagues in my department. My certifications include; Advanced Peace Officer Standards of Training, Georgia Department of Human Services - Division of Aging Services At-Risk Adult Crime Tactics, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention Instructor.
I have attained an A.A.S. in Fire Protection Technology, a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a M.A. in Forensic Psychology, and currently completing a PhD in Forensic Psychology. My goal is to continue assisting students attain their educational and professional goals. Tutoring sessions provide personalized education settings for open dialogue and subject focus. You will find my requested rate below the suggested average as a method for providing more students the ability to afford quality tutoring sessions.
