I have been teaching the violin for thirty years and now manage my private studio in Atlanta.
I grew up in China and received my Bachelor's degree in violin performance at the Beijing Central Conservatory. I came to the US for my Artist Diploma at Indiana University in 1994. I graduated in 1998, went to Bowling Green University, OH, for my Master's degree, and received the degree in 2000.

I grew up in China and received my Bachelor's degree in violin performance at the Beijing Central Conservatory. I came to the US for my Artist Diploma at Indiana University in 1994. I graduated in 1998, went to Bowling Green University, OH, for my Master's degree, and received the degree in 2000.
In 2003, I completed books one through eight of the Suzuki Association of the Americas violin teaching training at the School for Strings in New York while teaching at the Rockland Conservatory of Music in New York and the Neighborhood Music School in Connecticut from 2000 until 2007.
From 2007 to 2009, I founded the Suzuki violin program at the Sea Pines Montessori School. In addition, I performed with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra, and Beaufort Symphony Orchestra.
As I mastered both Suzuki and Traditional methods, my students ranged from 3 to adults. I am comfortable teaching students of all ages and love my students and teaching.
