I am a soon graduating college student with previous experience tutoring peers, elementary age students, & Algebra II and Geometry students. I have about 6 years of experience, now. I am currently getting my undergraduate degree in Social and Behavioral Health with a plan to get my Master's Degree in Professional Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a soon graduating college student with previous experience tutoring peers, elementary age students, & Algebra II and Geometry students. I have about 6 years of experience, now. I especially lean towards finding a student’s learning style to help them learn best. For Elementary Students, sometimes I use UNO cards to make the lesson more memorable and engaging. I try to make sure I check in with my student’s knowledge and understanding level before ending the session. My qualifications for each subject I tutor on Wyzant are making A’s in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, all four of my High School English Language Arts classes, winning two Black History Month Essay Contests, and graduating from High School with Honors. Making learning enjoyable and understandable are my two main goals.

Great tutor!

She helped my son with his Math unit he was struggling with. By the end of the lesson, he was answering problems much quicker and seems to understand the 2nd grade math better! When the lesson was over, he asked if Justine can help him with homework all the time.
