I'm Sepideh, but people usually call me Sep! I graduated from University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in nutrition. I had always been tutoring undergraduate and graduate students or teaching college classes during my time in grad school. I'm passionate about teaching and I take the time to respond to students' concerns. I always told my students that there is no stupid question, so they felt comfortable asking me whatever was not 100% clear to them. If I was unsure about the answer to specific questions, I walked students through how they can achieve the best answer possible through a reliable source of information.
I am a good stress reliever and I always put myself in my students' shoes. I appreciate feedback and I try to improve myself for each individual student.
I was famous among my classmates for best study tips since I was in middle schools. I didn't get stressed out about exams because I knew what to focus on in the shortest amount of time possible. I'm very good at making students remember (not simply memorize) biology and nutrition topics. I make subjects tangible in real life so that they can relate to everything they study.
I am Persian, Farsi is my native language.
I started learning English when I was 5 or 6. I received English proficiency license when I was 15, and I was certified to teach English in my hometown. I can teach English as second language pretty efficiently.
I am creative about teaching and tutoring. I don't use the same recipe for everyone. I get to know my students' strength and weaknesses and I care about in what areas they want to improve. I think I have all the "fast and easy" in my pocket. I will help students overcome challenges in the best way possible.
