I am a university history instructor with more than 15 years of experience teaching undergraduate students and helping learners improve their academic writing. I earned a B.A. in History from Kennesaw State University in 2009 and an M.A. in History from Georgia State University in 2013, where I am also pursuing my PhD. My experience includes college classroom instruction, individualized tutoring, and detailed feedback on essays and research papers.

In history and government sessions, I first identify what a student understands and where they need support. I use discussion, timelines, historical documents, and clear examples to connect events, institutions, and ideas. Rather than focusing only on memorization, we work on explaining causes and consequences, evaluating evidence, and preparing for class discussions, assignments, and exams.

I also help high school and college students with essays, research papers, and personal statements. We can develop a thesis, organize an outline, strengthen an argument, or revise a draft for clarity and structure. My feedback is specific and constructive: I explain why a change helps so students can use those skills independently. Each session is tailored to the student's course, assignment, and goals.
