I have always believed that learning should be fun! I have worked hard to make learning an enjoyable experience for over 25 years in education for my PreK through 6th grade students. My teaching style is engaging for learners, as I use various teaching methods catered to each of my students. I incorporate many different learning styles including, but not limited to: total physical response motions, kinesthetic hands-on movements and materials, memory tricks, brain thinking strategies, song/rhythm/dance and game strategies.
I enjoy working with children and their families to build confident learners, ensure academic success, and encourage a love for learning! I have a plethora of resources available to build strong lessons for tutoring sessions, but also welcome any ideas or suggestions from students and families.
