I enjoy helping students succeed in their studies. I explain concepts and methods that they most likely have never been exposed to, which proves to be beneficial to almost every student. I assisted many students pass collegiate-level physics courses, along with high school math and physics courses, ACT, etc. I have teaching experience from the University of Louisville: Geosciences, Physics & Astronomy Department; Louisville, KY. I have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience outside of Wyzant.
While working as an undergraduate assistant professor at the University of Louisville I lectured 'Introduction to Meteorology' course material to 20-40 students twice weekly. I successfully introduced basic meteorology concepts to freshman and sophomore students who are interested in entering the undergraduate atmospheric sciences program and/or who needed to fulfill a general physics requirement. I developed and conducted weekly labs to supplement lecture material. I held weekly office hours and tutored students with success.
I have a strong math and physics background. I successfully completed the entire university-accredited calculus sequence I, II, & II, along with linear algebra and differential equations.
I am proficient in tutoring ACT Math, Prealgebra, Algebra I, II, SAT Math, Physics
If you need assistance with math and/or physics, I can help you.
