I am an educator with over 10 years of experience teaching preschool and supporting young children as they develop the foundational skills needed for success in school. I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Child Development and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education. In addition to my preschool teaching experience, I have worked in an elementary school setting as a paraprofessional, providing individualized academic and behavioral support to students and collaborating with teachers to meet the needs of diverse learners. I am also a mother, which has further strengthened my understanding of child development, patience, and the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping children build confidence while developing age-appropriate academic and social skills. I specialize in kindergarten readiness, early literacy, phonemic awareness, letter recognition, beginning reading skills, writing, fine motor development, early math concepts, and classroom readiness skills. I believe young children learn best through engaging, hands-on activities that make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I tailor each session to the child’s individual needs, using encouragement, play-based learning, structured practice, and positive reinforcement to help students grow.

My goal is to help children feel excited, capable, and prepared as they enter their next stage of learning. Whether a child needs additional support before starting kindergarten or simply needs opportunities to strengthen foundational skills, I strive to create a welcoming environment where every child can learn at their own pace and celebrate their progress.
