I started my career teaching high school math, teaching everything from Algebra to Calculus, and later taught Biostatistics to college students at North Carolina Central University. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, where I received a license to teach high school math, a Master’s in Statistics, and a PhD in Epidemiology, which involves studying patterns of health and disease.

Michele and I discussed a research paper I am doing for Biostats in a MPH program. She reviewed concepts with me and helped talk through a few things I was stuck on. I am using Stata so she helped me figure out visualizations and commands needed to complete assignment. She is super knowledgeable and this seems to be second nature to her. Highly recommend!

Michele helped in great detail about statistics: all about the chi-squared tests and all the subtopics that are relevant to that. She walked me through an example, which further increased my knowledge about all that we are learning in class and what to expect when doing the homework. I am a first-year student pursuing a master's in public health at UTHealth Houston! Michele tutors me for both biostatistics and epidemiology, and I can confidently say that I could not get through these classes without her. She is very knowledgeable and sympathetic, and explains content in a way that is easy to understand! I have extra time accommodations and tend to be a little bit slow, but Michele is always very patient with me and never makes me feel rushed or dumb for asking a question. I selected Michele to tutor my daughter (freshman in college) in Statistics. She proved to be very knowledgeable in the subject and explained the problems in a way where it is easier to understand. My daughter loves her. She was receiving very low grades (failing) in Statistics. After two sessions with Michele she received at 77.5 on her next exam.
