Hello! My name is Page, and I am excited about the opportunity to support your child’s education. I have a bachelor’s in elementary education and special education, a master’s in elementary education, and a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction. I also have my reading and gifted endorsements. I am in my 7th year teaching elementary school. My first 4 years were spent teaching multiple grades (K-2) in a small group class. For the past 3 years of my career, I have taught Interrelated Resource (IRR) for grades K-3.

I have tutored students in my community since 2018 and have tutored through Wyzant from 2018 to 2020. I had a baby in 2021 and took a break from tutoring. My sweet boy is about to turn three now, so I am ready to get back to supporting students outside of the classroom again!

I work with various learners: gifted students looking for more of a challenge, students needing support to grasp the content in the general education setting, and students with an IEP or 504 need additional support. I am Orton-Gillingham trained through Savannah Dyslexia, a program that trains teachers in dyslexia, the Orton-Gillingham Approach, and Multisensory Structured Literacy. I utilize the S.P.I.R.E. Reading Program to support my struggling readers. The S.P.I.R.E. lessons I teach methodically walk my students through phonemic awareness and phonics, then spelling, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency- instilling and reinforcing every stage of reading development.

My goal for your child is for our time together to be fun, engaging, and filled with learning. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a tutoring session. I am excited for an opportunity to meet you and your child and begin supporting their education!
