Hello, I’m Dr. Joyce Pang. I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Statistics. I have over 15 years of experience teaching physics at the college level, where I guided students through both introductory and advanced courses in mechanics, electricity & magnetism, and modern physics. Currently, I teach AP Physics C at the high school level, preparing students for the rigor of calculus-based physics and the AP exam. I have also taught high school mathematics and spent two years homeschooling my own children, giving me firsthand experience in one-on-one and personalized instruction.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of students, from high schoolers to college undergraduates, in traditional classrooms and individualized settings. My teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, and building confidence. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, helping them not only master the material but also develop the critical thinking skills that support long-term success.
I specialize in physics and mathematics tutoring and also provide guidance for parents who want to support their children’s learning at home. My approach is patient, interactive, and focused on making learning engaging and meaningful. With a strong academic background and years of diverse teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to help students succeed, enjoy learning, and reach their academic goals.
