Hi, I’m Rachel! I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Baylor University in Health Sciences with minors in Biology and Business Administration, an MPH from Northwestern University, and an MS in Medical Physiology from Augusta University. During my academic journey, I taught part-time and worked as an EMT. I absolutely love medicine, physiology, and public health!
I have over 5 years of teaching experience, including 1 year of full-time experience at the collegiate level. I currently teach A&P I and II and absolutely love teaching students about the fascinating physiology of the human body. I am well-versed in all 11 body systems and their interrelatedness. My approach to teaching is grounded in application-based practice and simplifying complex topics in a way that preserves the integrity of the concepts. My objective for every lesson is for students to leave feeling more confident about concepts and their ability to apply that knowledge to clinical examples. If you have any questions, I'd love to message with you!
