Hi! My name is Malek, and I bring a strong combination of academic rigor and real-world experience to every tutoring session. I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, where I developed a solid foundation in analytical reasoning, quantitative problem solving, and data interpretation. After graduation, I worked as an Engineer and Statistician, gaining extensive experience using and teaching MATLAB and learning how to clearly explain complex concepts in an intuitive, approachable way.
I later pursued my medical education at the Medical College of Georgia, where I scored within the top 10% on the MCAT and the top 5% on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. In recognition of my academic achievement and professionalism, I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the privilege of helping students master core concepts and develop effective strategies for high-stakes standardized exams. Whether you’re preparing for SAT Math, MCAT, or USMLE exams, my focus is on building both strong conceptual understanding and exam confidence.
I have been a tutor and mentor for the past 10 years, working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles. My teaching method is simple and highly effective: See one, do one, teach one. We’ll work through challenging problems together, you’ll then apply the approach independently, and finally reinforce your understanding by explaining the concept back to me. This method builds confidence and equips you to tackle unfamiliar problems independently. I look forward to working with you on your academic and test-prep goals!
