Hello, I’m Dipen! I am a fourth-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (Class of 2027), applying to urology residency. I earned my BS in Cell and Molecular Biology summa cum laude in three years through Augusta University’s seven-year BS/MD program.

I have always been curious about how the natural world works and eager to share what I learn. That started with fun facts at the dinner table and helping friends with physics after class, and it grew into several years of one-on-one tutoring. I find that explaining an idea clearly is one of the best ways to understand it, and I enjoy helping students reach that point themselves.
In high school, I took 20 AP courses, including AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology, and scored 5s on all 20 exams. I also scored a 1560 on the SAT. As an undergraduate sophomore, I scored a 521 (98th percentile) on the MCAT after one month of preparation. In medical school, I have maintained a 4.00 GPA, passed USMLE Step 1 on my first attempt, and scored a 271 on Step 2 CK, also on my first attempt. I am a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and was Augusta University’s first Barry Goldwater Scholar. Along the way, I have learned a good deal about the content of these exams and the strategies that help students do well on them.
I tutor students from high school through medical school. For high schoolers, I help with class material, short answers and essays, and AP and SAT preparation. For premedical students, I help with MCAT content review and test strategy. For medical students, I offer USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK preparation, from difficult concepts to study schedules and practice questions. My teaching style is down-to-earth, accessible, and tailored to each student. I am easy to reach by text or email for questions between sessions. My goal is to leave you with a solid understanding of the material and the confidence to take on whatever comes next. I look forward to working with you!
