Hi, I’m Mili! I’m a tutor specializing in providing in-depth instruction that enables students of all levels to achieve expertise in the material.

I teach until the student masters the material with complete confidence. In the past, this style served me well. I scored perfectly on the SAT Math Section (3x), SAT Math II Subject Test, and NY Algebra 1 & 2 Regents Exams. I also qualified for the AIME, placed 2nd in the Suffolk County Math Tournament, earned National Merit Finalist, and earned National AP Scholar, which comprises 5s on the AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Statistics, and many more.

As I continue my degree, I empathize with my students—learning isn’t always intuitive, and scoring poorly or falling behind can be discouraging. My goal is to empower students to not only catch up but also excel. I firmly believe that all students can become proficient if provided with the proper guidance and support. I simplify complex concepts into manageable chunks, ensuring students have a solid grasp of the fundamentals before moving on. I recognize the importance of building a strong foundation: it serves as the cornerstone for future learning.

With a commitment to student success, I polished my teaching methods in 5+ years of experience. In the first session, I assess each student's current level of understanding to identify specific areas of weakness. Then, I tailor future lessons to meet their unique needs, providing targeted instruction and addressing any gaps in their understanding.

I helped students achieve numerous accomplishments ranging from Straight As to 700+ SAT Math scores to High Honor Roll Distinctions in the AMCs to more. Witnessing students' successes is incredibly rewarding to me. It brings me great joy to see their confidence soar as they conquer once-daunting challenges.

In summer 2021 Mili helped my sister cover 9th grade Geometry. She was very helpful, organized, patient and thorough, my sister passed the exam at the end of summer. This helped her skip the class going into high school. Currently Mili is teaching Algebra 2. My sister loves working with Mili and has become more confident.
