College Grad with Degree in Spanish

Graduate of Auburn University class of 2020 (Covid year woohoo!!) with degrees in International Relations (and Global Politics) and Spanish with a minor in Business. Completed a semester long study abroad program at the Universidad de Alcála in Madrid. Deans list student while in college. I enjoy using all types of media and spend a good amount of time reading.

I was involved in reviving the Model United Nations organization on campus while in school. I enjoy following the news on a daily basis regarding many disciplines. I also enjoy spending a good amount of time outside either at the lake, grilling or hiking. However, I am still just as likely to be inside watching Netflix as I am enjoying time with my friends.

During college I helped tutor classmates in Spanish throughout the semester as well as student- athletes. I interned with a spanish labor union during my study abroad in Madrid. During that internship I had to interpret legal meetings and participated in small business talks with local companies. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy using Spanish and teaching others to understand the language. I have taken Spanish since 8th grade and recently graduated with a Spanish degree from Auburn University. Spanish courses that I have taken range from Literature, Phonetics, Culture, Oral Proficiency, Business, and Politics.

I am looking forward to connecting with new language learners and those wishing to get a better grasp on this wonderful language that will open many doors for you in the future!!!
