Not only is Charles incredibly knowledgeable, but his encouraging and interactive teaching style has helped her make significant progress. Charles stepped in to help my 8th grader review and prep for her high school math placement test. He went out of his way (outside of sessions) to find practice materials for her and was responsive and accessible when we needed last minute sessions. That, along with his clear, patient Instruction, knowledge of the material and ability to translate that knowledge, made him an invaluable resource at a time when she really needed the confidence to tackle a critical and challenging exam. Charles was amazing meeting last minute, making an exception for us. Charles knows his stuff, as my son is in AP Precalculus. He is an amazing teacher of the content, and made sure my son knew his the content before moving to the next part. We are changing our tutor from someone else to Charles, as he took all the time (even though it was late for him), to make sure my son had all his questions answered.
