I am a certified elementary educator with over six years of experience teaching and supporting students in grades K–5. I hold a Master of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. I hold a Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6), along with Reading and ESOL endorsements.

My experience includes teaching third- and fourth-grade students as well as serving as a K–5 interventionist, where I provided targeted small-group instruction to students with a wide range of academic needs. I have extensive experience teaching elementary reading, including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and written response, as well as elementary mathematics. I have also worked with students receiving intervention services and students with IEPs, adapting instruction and providing additional scaffolding to help students access grade-level skills.

I believe effective tutoring should be individualized, engaging, and purposeful. I begin by identifying what a student already understands and where additional support is needed, then tailor instruction accordingly. I use explicit modeling, guided practice, visual and hands-on supports, targeted questioning, and gradual release toward independent practice. Whether a student needs help closing skill gaps, strengthening grade-level skills, or simply becoming a more confident reader or mathematician, my goal is to provide supportive instruction that helps each child experience meaningful academic growth.
