I am a recent medical school graduate with prior teaching experience from the high school through graduate level. My focus includes personal statement/essay editing; high school science courses; humanities courses including history, philosophy, and German; and USMLE Step 2.
I graduated magna cum laude as a Jack Kent Cooke, Gates Foundation, and Truman Scholar from the University of Philosophy with a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Minor in Chemistry. I additionally received my MPH in Healthcare Management as a Woodruff Scholar from Emory University.
In terms of teaching experience, I have served as a Teaching Assistant for German, Ethics, and Introductory Biology I and II - Lab. I have mentored 30+ students at the high school, graduate school, and medical school level from the application process to specific study and testing strategies. I helped create a Case-Based Learning case in medical school that has since been permanently integrated into the pre-clinical curriculum.
My strategy focuses on helping identify areas of improvement, targeting feedback, and meaningfully solidifying content to increase student confidence. I have been fortunate to work longitudinally with students and find great fulfillment in student progress across sessions. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
