About Joseph

Bio

After graduating with a BA in English from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, I went on to teach classes of 7-12th grade students at Trivium Preparatory Academy in Arizona in English & Math and now work as a full time tutor for all sections of the SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, & HSPT.

I love teaching English and Literature because I have a passion for storytelling, and I enjoy teaching Math and Grammar because of their rational nature and...

After graduating with a BA in English from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, I went on to teach classes of 7-12th grade students at Trivium Preparatory Academy in Arizona in English & Math and now work as a full time tutor for all sections of the SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, & HSPT.

I love teaching English and Literature because I have a passion for storytelling, and I enjoy teaching Math and Grammar because of their rational nature and the enjoyment that comes from solving logic puzzles.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the movies, spending time with my five younger brothers and sisters, and volunteering within MENSA. I believe that learning can always be made fun and is extremely rewarding when you put in the work. Using the 504 provided by my school for each of these students, I adapted my learning style to address their particular needs.
