Hello I'm Anuradha! I received my Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Signals and Systems from George Mason University. I scored an 800 on both the General SAT Math and SAT Math Level II Subject Tests. I am currently a working professional in the medical device industry and have over 3+ years of tutoring experience.
As an engineering graduate, I have a strong educational background in Math and Science. I bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach and ensure students have an enjoyable experience. I usually start off my lesson plans by asking students what are they currently learning in Math and Science (whichever subject they are being tutored in) and help them understand the concepts so they are able to follow along with the rest of the class. At the end of each session, students are assigned homework using their class material or material I have created. I always make students have time to practice the material on their own and are also ahead of their class.
My tutoring approach focuses on the development of fundamental problem-solving skills. I believe that mastering basic concepts will enable the student to tackle questions with confidence - ensuring their success. If you're struggling with concepts in your Math or Science class, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am easy to reach and respond very fast. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
