Hi! My name is Aarti N. and I have been teaching for 10 years. I love working with students with different learning styles and helping them feel successful. My goal is to help all my students in every way possible. I think there are various ways to learn and I want to encourage students to never feel dejected.

I love tutoring because I enjoy the one-on-one setting that you don't gain in a mainstream classroom environment. I want students to feel free to ask questions and take risks. I strongly believe that you always learn from your mistakes. I know many people are shy and I don't want any students to ever feel they can't achieve their goals.

I would be a great math tutor because math can be very hands on. Math skills can be perfected with practice. I encourage students to always show their work because it helps understand the thought processes.

I really enjoy teaching grammar. I feel that man grammar lessons can get boring quite quickly, however with the correct tools you can teach an effective grammar lesson with some creative strategies.

Common Core has many advantages. Explaining, reasoning, evaluating and analyzing are a few components that encourage the higher order thinking skills involved in common core. Common Core isn't challenging as long as you understand what the questions are asking.

I have been an elementary teacher for ten years now. I love children and helping them all feel successful. Kids need to be nurtured and encouraged consistently and provided positive feedback. I love that I have the opportunity to work with children daily and make an impact.
