I've been tutoring math for over 10 years; during that time, I've worked with students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college, as well as adults returning to school to obtain degrees or certifications. I focus on algebra and geometry, and I also tutor math found on standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. In the past, I've tutored up through calculus, along with physics and economics.

Alex is a great tutor! When I didn't understand a concept, he would find another way to explain it to me. Alex is probably one of the best tutors I have ever had. After each math session, Alex made me feel more confident in the material! I understood all the concepts and tools that I needed to solve the problems. I highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling in math.

My daughter was having a difficult time passing the high school math TAKS test, and this was very frustrating for her. The school offered a tutorial program and still the information just wasn't sinking in. We decided to go another route and get her some one on one math tutoring Alex was great, professional, punctual, courteous, and patient. If there was something that she did not understand, he worked the problem with her several different ways until she did understand it. Her math skills and confidence level started to improve right away. The transformation was amazing to watch from a parent's point of view. Alex has great teaching abilities, and when it comes to the higher levels of math, he is top notch. I highly recommend Alex to anyone who needs help with their math.
