I have so many good things to say about Dafina. Most importantly, my daughter really enjoyed her session with Dafina and felt that she learned well from her. In my daughter's words, Dafina was "good at explaining things and has a good sense of humor" - very important for a teenager :-) In addition, Dafina replied quickly to my late night Friday request asking if she could tutor my daughter (this, despite that she was travelling at the time). Finally, after scheduling our first session, my daughter became ill. I thought I had messaged Dafina to cancel the session, but it apparently did not send. So while I was unawares at work, Dafina was left wondering why my daughter didn't show up for her first Zoom session. Dafina was incredibly kind, patient and gracious with us regarding this issue. Dafina is tutoring my daughter in Geometry. She is patient and clear in her explanations on the subject. Dafina has been great at taking the time to understand where my daughter is finding most difficult and working through it, making the most of their time together.
