Hi! I'm an Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech, concentrating in Analytics and Data Science and minoring in Engineering and Business. I have a strong academic background in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and probability. I graduated as my high school's valedictorian and earned a 1550 SAT score, and I am currently a Stamps President's Scholar at Georgia Tech. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in the subjects I tutor as well as firsthand experience with standardized testing and college admissions.

I previously worked at Kumon, where I helped students strengthen their math skills in a structured tutoring environment, and I have also privately tutored elementary school students one-on-one. Through these experiences, I've worked with younger students on building strong mathematical foundations and becoming more confident with concepts they initially found challenging. I also have experience helping students with standardized test prep and college admissions.

My tutoring approach is based on the same methods that have helped me succeed academically: structured problem-solving, visual learning, and frequent practice. Rather than simply showing a student the answer, I break problems into steps and make sure the student understands why each step works. Whenever possible, I use diagrams, patterns, and examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I also adapt my approach based on the student's age, experience level, and goals. For younger students, I emphasize fundamentals and confidence, while for older students, I place greater emphasis on problem-solving strategies, test prep, and more advanced math concepts.

My goal is for students to leave each session knowing how to solve the problems we covered and feeling more confident approaching similar problems independently. I'm generally available on Fridays and weekends, with some flexibility during the week. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesso

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I completed Algebra I more than seven years ago and have had coursework build on top of it up until now in my engineering degree. I teach by breaking each type of problem into a clear, step-by-step process, which helped me score a near-perfect score of 790 on the SAT Math section. I show students not just how to solve problems, but also how each step works, building confidence.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I completed Algebra II more than six years ago and have had coursework build on top of it up until now in my engineering degree. I teach by breaking each type of problem into a clear, step-by-step process, which helped me score a near-perfect score of 790 on the SAT Math section. I show students not just how to solve problems, but also how each step works, building confidence.
Calculus

Calculus

I completed my high school Calculus courses more than three years ago and have had coursework build on top of it up until now in my engineering degree. I teach by breaking each type of problem into a clear, step-by-step process, mapping it out visually, and practicing with plenty of examples until it becomes second nature. I show students not just how to solve problems, but also how each step works, building confidence.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

As a former Kumon instructor and private tutor for elementary students, I know how to make math clear, approachable, and even fun for young learners. I tutor addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, and word problems, building the number sense students need for every math class that follows. I break each concept into simple, visual steps using drawings, diagrams, and hands-on examples, then reinforce it with plenty of practice until it clicks. Whether your child is catching up, keeping pace, or ready for a challenge, I focus on building both strong skills and confidence in math.
Probability

Probability

As an Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech concentrating in Analytics and Data Science, I've completed university-level coursework in probability and apply it regularly in data modeling and analytics. I tutor topics including counting and combinations, conditional probability, independent events, expected value, and common discrete and continuous distributions, including the binomial and normal distributions. I teach by turning each problem into a clear, visual process, using diagrams and plenty of examples, so students can see how probabilities combine instead of memorizing formulas.
SAT Math

SAT Math

As an Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech, I know firsthand how much a strong SAT score can open doors. I tutor every area of SAT Math, including algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, and geometry and trigonometry, with a focus on the strategies that matter on test day: pacing, recognizing question types, and avoiding common traps. I teach by breaking each question type into a clear, repeatable process, mapping it out visually, and practicing with plenty of realistic examples. I also help students build a study plan based on their practice test results so our sessions target exactly where they can gain the most points.
