I hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and held a Georgia Professional Educator Certificate in Healthcare Science for nine years before returning to clinical practice. I was named CTAE Teacher of the Year in 2014 and Teacher of the Year in 2015.
As an educator, I designed healthcare curriculum, analyzed performance data, identified learning gaps, and developed remediation strategies. As department chair, I led programs and educators while supporting curriculum quality, student achievement, and workforce readiness. My leadership contributed to 97% participation in end-of-program assessments and a 14-point increase in the pass rate.
As a healthcare recruiter, I have screened, interviewed, credentialed, and placed healthcare professionals. This gives emerging professionals insight into what employers notice during résumé reviews, interviews, professional communication, and candidate evaluation.

My teaching is personalized, practical, and encouraging. I identify each student’s goals, then combine clear instruction, guided practice, realistic scenarios, and constructive feedback. Students do not simply receive templates or memorize answers—they practice until they can confidently apply what they learn.
