I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, where I developed a strong academic foundation. I have three years of tutoring experience working with elementary and middle school students through a local after-school program, as well as experience tutoring students through a summer enrichment program. During college, I also served as a teacher’s assistant for a semester, where I provided students with academic support and assistance with essay writing. These experiences have allowed me to work with students of different ages, learning styles, and academic needs.
My tutoring approach is student-led, supportive, and centered on building confidence. I believe every student deserves to be treated with respect and encouraged to take an active role in their own learning. Rather than simply providing answers, I work with students to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to approach challenging material independently. I utilize positive reinforcement and patience to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them become more confident and motivated learners.
