I’ve been working with students for over ten years, and what keeps me in this work is simple: I genuinely believe every student has the capacity to succeed when they have someone in their corner who actually listens.
My background is in K-12 instruction across all subjects, with a particular strength in ELA and mathematics through Algebra I. I’ve had the privilege of working with students across a wide range of learning styles and needs, both one-on-one and in small groups, and I’ve learned that how you teach matters just as much as what you teach. My sessions are structured but flexible. I meet students where they are and build from there, at their pace, with their goals in mind.
My love for learning started early, and it deepened in college when I began studying why some students thrive and others struggle. I graduated with honors in Psychology, and my senior thesis focused on the direct link between teaching style and student outcomes. That research still shapes the way I work every day.
I work fully remotely and am available across time zones, which makes me a great fit for families with flexible or non-traditional schedules. If you’re looking for a tutor who shows up prepared, communicates warmly with both students and parents, and makes learning feel less overwhelming and more possible, I’d love to connect.
