Over ten years of working with students has taught me that most who struggle aren't lacking ability. They're missing the right approach. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in Psychology, and my senior thesis looked at how teaching style affects student outcomes, so figuring out how each student learns best is at the center of how I work.

I tutor K-12 students, with particular strength in ELA and mathematics through Algebra I, and I also tutor high school AP and college students in psychology. I’ve worked with students with a wide range of learning styles and needs, both one-on-one and in small groups, and I’ve learned that how you teach matters just as much as what you teach. I start every student with a conversation about what’s frustrating them and what they want out of our time. From there, my sessions are structured but flexible: I meet students where they are and build at their pace, with their goals in mind.

I work fully remotely and have flexible availability, which works well for families non-traditional schedules. I also keep parents updated on progress when I work with younger students, so everyone knows what we’re working on. Send me a message and let's talk about how I can help.
