I have worked in education for several years in a variety of roles and settings. I worked as an Early Interventionist (EI) for one year, supporting children ages 0–5 and collaborating closely with families to meet developmental and educational goals. I then worked as a teacher assistant and co-teacher before becoming a lead teacher. I have taught Kindergarten for the past three years and have also worked in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms.
My teaching approach focuses on meeting children where they are academically, emotionally, and developmentally. I believe in working holistically with each child to understand their individual needs and learning style. I incorporate movement, brain breaks, encouragement, and structured support so students do not feel overwhelmed and can build confidence while learning.
I am passionate about helping scholars grow both academically and personally, and I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel successful, capable, and excited to learn. I can’t wait to work with your scholar and help grow their already brilliant brain!
