I graduated from Georgia Tech in December 2025 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, which is basically four years of math and physics thrown at you in increasingly creative ways. I genuinely enjoyed the engineering, specifically the process of figuring out why something works the way it does. That instinct to understand things from first principles is something I try to pass on when working with a student.
I haven't tutored through a platform before, but explaining difficult material to other people has always come naturally to me. At Georgia Tech I spent a lot of time working through problem sets with classmates across subjects like calculus, differential equations, physics, and linear algebra. During my time doing research at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, I regularly had to translate complex technical concepts into clear, digestible explanations for people with varying levels of background knowledge. That experience taught me how to read when someone is lost and adjust my approach on the fly.
My focus is middle and high school students tackling algebra, precalculus, calculus, or physics, and students preparing for the SAT or ACT math and science sections. My approach is patient and methodical. I focus on making sure a student understands the concept before moving on, because rushing past a gap in understanding just creates bigger problems later. I would rather spend extra time on one idea than leave a student memorizing steps they do not actually understand. I am available for in-person sessions in the Atlanta area as well as online.
