I hold a Master’s degree in Economics from Emory University, with specialized coursework in both macroeconomics and microeconomics. My training gave me deep insight into how markets, policy, and individual choices interact, and I love translating that into clear, relatable lessons for my students.
I’ve tutored high school, college, and adult learners one-on-one for 10+ years, covering AP Economics, Intro/Intermediate Micro and Macro, Econometrics, and exam prep. My approach starts with figuring out exactly where students are stuck. From there, I break complex models into step-by-step logic using real-world examples: supply shocks and inflation, game theory in pricing, fiscal policy and the multiplier effect. I emphasize intuition first, then math, so concepts actually stick. Students tell me I’m patient, I don’t rush, and I adapt until the “lightbulb moment” happens.
My goal is to help students not to just pass their test, but actually feel confident with economics. Whether they need help with problem sets, graphing, essay writing, or prepping for finals, I’ll meet them at their level and build up from there.
