Throughout high school I worked with elementary and middle schoolers teaching them anything from simple math to robotics. Now, in college, I have already started tutoring my peers in my university's computer science classes. Through these experiences I've learned how important it is to adapt to each person's learning style and to have patience. My philosophy is that everyone is capable of learning any topic they want, and if it seems impossible, it usually just means that they haven't found the right way to learn it. My goal during sessions is not just to help students solve the problem in front of them and be done with it, but to help them clearly understand the underlying ideas so they can approach future problems with a new confidence.
