I have a Master’s degree in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology and over five years of experience teaching English Language Arts, social studies, and art to middle and high school students. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, from students who need extra support to those who just want to improve their writing or test performance. Most of my experience comes from the classroom, but I also enjoy working one-on-one and being able to focus on what each student specifically needs.
My goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more manageable. I break things down in a clear, simple way and adjust how I teach based on how each student learns best. I help with reading comprehension, essays, writing skills, and test prep, and I like to bring in interactive or tech-based tools when it helps things click. I also try to keep sessions relaxed and supportive so students feel comfortable asking questions and actually engaging with the material.
I’ve worked with students from upper elementary through high school, and I focus on building skills they can use beyond just one assignment. Whether it’s organizing an essay, preparing for a test, or just gaining more confidence in English, I aim to meet students where they are and help them improve in a way that feels realistic and encouraging.
