I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Georgia, and I tutor because I’ve seen how much difference the right explanation makes. A lot of students don’t struggle because they “aren’t good at math” or “just don’t get physics”, they struggle because no one has shown them a clear way to think through the problem. My goal is to make tough material feel structured and doable by teaching the process behind it, not just the answer. I work with students in math through Calculus II, physics through College Physics II, and I also help with CAD/CAM and 3D modeling in tools like Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Blender, and SketchUp.
I’ve tutored through Varsity Tutors and have worked one-on-one with a wide range of learners, including middle school and high school students, college students, and working professionals. Because everyone comes in with different gaps and different goals, I don’t use a one-size-fits-all routine. The first session is always an assessment session where we figure out what you already know, where things are breaking down (concepts, setup, algebra, units, or confidence), and what outcomes you’re aiming for. After that, I build a plan tailored to you, and each session includes guided practice so you can do the work independently and feel confident repeating the method on your own.
In addition to technical subjects, I also offer support in debate and Bible study. In debate, I focus on building clear arguments, strong organization, and evidence-based reasoning. In Bible study, I help students engage with the text more thoughtfully by working through context, structure, and interpretation in a way that fits where they are right now. No matter the subject, my goal is the same: bring you from where you are to where you need to be, with a plan that makes progress feel real and repeatable.
