Hi, I’m Isabelle!
I have just graduated with my Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies at Columbia University, with a focus on conflict resolution and peacebuilding. Before graduate school, I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Redlands, where I developed a deep appreciation for understanding people, cultures, and communication.
I’ve always loved helping others learn — whether through tutoring students at my synagogue, mentoring peers in writing and research, or leading educational programs at summer camps. My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. I believe that when students feel supported and confident, they not only succeed academically but also grow personally.
I specialize in writing, reading comprehension, social studies, and college prep support, and I bring both academic expertise and real-world empathy to every session. Above all, I strive to make learning engaging, empowering, and meaningful.
Outside of academics, you can find me reading novels (I’m a huge Jane Austen and Sally Rooney fan), exploring new coffee shops, or spending time with my friends and family.
