Hello! I’m Arya, a Georgia Tech Math Master’s student (grad GPA 4.0) and applied ML researcher working toward two publications. I also hold a B.S. in Mathematics (minor CS, GPA 3.7) from Tech, and entered college with a 1510 SAT and 32 ACT.
Over the past 3 years I’ve helped about 400 students succeed in math as both a Teaching Assistant and private tutor. At Georgia Tech I led weekly “studio” sessions for Calculus I–III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra, guiding classes of 40 through semester-long problem-solving workshops. As a private tutor, I’ve worked with learners aged 7 to 65 on everything from fractions and algebra to probability, statistics, and proof-based courses. As such, I am qualified to teach (and good at teaching) essentially any middle school, high school, or undergraduate-level math course. For SAT Math and Calculus, I’ve even developed my own course materials!
My approach is flexible, patient, and intensely goal-oriented. First we map your strengths, gaps, and learning style; then I create custom notes and problem sets you keep forever. In lessons, I start with clear, intuitive conceptual explanations. After, I’ll give general solution strategies for the types of problems you’re facing. Then, we’ll dive straight into problems and examples. Between sessions you’ll receive concise review sheets and a study plan so progress continues even when I’m not there.
Students say I make math “finally make sense” because I remember what it feels like to struggle and I never dismiss a question. Whether you’re fighting for that passing grade or aiming for an A+, I’ll meet you where you are and move you forward with encouragement and rigor. Let’s tackle your goals together and turn math into a subject you can ace—and maybe even enjoy!
