I have 5 years of tutoring experience math for a wide range of students, including elementary school to undergraduate levels. I love helping students understand concepts that were previously challenging or confusing, and helping them arrive at that "Aha!" moment when suddenly everything clicks! I believe all students are capable of learning and excelling at math. Sometimes, it just takes a bit of patience and creativity to help each learner understand the content in a way that makes sense to them. I am here to help each student succeed.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Earth and Climate Sciences. My work uses math to understand how glaciers around the world are changing over time. I love math because it can be applied to any field! I enjoy sharing what I do with students, and helping them to see the uses of math in a variety of career fields. I conduct most of my lessons online, through Zoom. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson!
