Dear Future Students,
I'm excited to introduce myself as a dedicated tutor with a passion for helping students succeed academically. With a strong background in biology and years of experience tutoring math and science, I’ve worked with students from elementary through college levels. I hold a degree in biology and am currently pursuing my MD, which has provided me with an in-depth understanding of subjects like biology and anatomy & physiology. My academic journey has helped me develop a structured approach to problem-solving, which I pass on to my students.
In high school, I challenged myself academically by taking 10 Advanced Placement (AP) courses across English, math, science, and history, earning A’s in all of them. I received numerous AP awards for my high exam scores and graduated early from college with honors. I scored in the 93rd percentile on both the ACT and SAT, fueling my passion for helping students prepare for standardized tests.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages and academic levels. From elementary students needing foundational support to high schoolers preparing for the ACT/SAT and college students tackling advanced courses, I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. I’ve tutored one-on-one, taught middle school students, and worked in classroom settings, including reading remediation and math skill development. My specialties include algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, biology, and anatomy & physiology. I focus on creating personalized learning plans, building confidence through practice, and making learning engaging with real-world examples.
As a medical student, I’ve completed courses in microbiology, pharmacology, pathology, and pathophysiology, which deepens my ability to tutor science subjects. Every student I’ve worked with has shown improvement in academic performance and confidence. My goal is to help you excel academically and develop the skills to become an independent, lifelong learner.
