I’m very excited to become an MCAT tutor. As a Harvard student majoring in Chemistry, and having scored a 526 on the MCAT, I bring a deep understanding of both the exam and the content areas it covers. My academic background includes extensive coursework in Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry, all of which are critical to mastering the MCAT. Additionally, I have a long research experience where I worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the NIH which has provided me with a lot of important insights that helped me understand the content to a very deep level.

In my role as a research assistant, I’ve worked on projects that required a deep understanding of complex biological and chemical processes, which has enhanced my ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and effectively. I’ve also mentored high school students through Baltimore County’s Research Mentoring program, where I guided them in breaking down scientific topics and conducting their own research. This has sharpened my ability to tailor my teaching style to fit the needs of individual learners, making complex material accessible and engaging.

As an MCAT tutor, I am going to focus on helping students build a deep understanding of the material and equipping them with the best resources to tackle questions. My approach involves not just content review but also how to answer new and unfamiliar questions—key skill on the MCAT. I will provide the students with everything they need to succeed.
