During my time as an educator, I led the English Department and ran the AVID College Success Program. I received many accolades over the years such as Teacher of the Year 2023.
Due to the high immigrant population at the Title One school I spent most of my most recent teaching career at, I am especially qualified to teach English Language Learners. I have a Florida and Georgia ESL endorsement and have spent most of my classroom teaching with ELL students.
