In my previous experience, I have tutored students in middle school and high school and have seen tremendous improvements in my student's grades. I prefer teaching online in a one-on-one setting and this is how I have tutored most of my students.
In my approach to tutoring, I like to teach my leading with examples and then allowing the student to complete a sample problem. With this, I can gauge whether or not the student understood the material or if more practice is needed. I also like to follow-up with real-world examples to help drive the understanding home. Depending on the nature of the subject, I may also assign homework.
