Super knowledgeable and versitile tutor
Riley, 21 lessons with MinaI have used Mina for Physiology, Immunology, and Biochemistry and he has been beyond helpful when it came to topics that just weren't making sense when using my class material. Mina does a great job at breaking the concepts down to bite size and manageable pieces by showing the big picture and focusing on the specific details in order to understand the "why" in the question stem. Also, he is able to bring in and tie different high yield concepts together that are related to each other...
Studying for the MCAT or USMLE Step 1 while keeping up with coursework is one of the hardest things a pre-med or medical student faces. I know — I've been through it. And I want to help you get to the other side.

Mina does a great job at breaking the concepts down to bite size and manageable pieces by showing the big picture and focusing on the specific details in order to understand the "why" in the question stem. Also, he is able to bring in and tie different high yield concepts together that are related to each other therefore showing the connection between the concept and clinical implications and correlates. Lastly, when reviewing questions (BRS, Lippincott, class questions), he has given me really helpful test taking skills/ strategies that have helped me when answering questions on my exams. Overall, I have really appreciated all the time and help he has given me to be successful and understand class material.

BEST TUTOR - you will be blessed!
I genuinely don’t think there are enough words to describe how incredible Mina is or how much of an impact he has had on my journey to medical school. Calling him simply a “tutor” doesn’t even begin to capture what he does. He has been a mentor, a guide, and truly my saving grace throughout this entire process. When I first came to him, I was struggling with the MCAT, overwhelmed, and unsure of myself. He met me exactly where I was, never made me feel judged, and helped me rebuild my confidence step by step. And his support didn’t stop with the MCAT. He helped me with CASPer, my primary application, secondaries, and everything in between. There were honestly times when it felt like he was holding my hand through this entire journey, always making sure I knew what to do next. What makes him so special is how genuinely invested he is in his students. You never feel like just another appointment on his calendar. He is patient, encouraging, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly wants to see you succeed. I cannot imagine going through this process without him. If you’re a pre-med reading these reviews and wondering whether you should work with him, don’t even doubt it: go for it. Make him your tutor, trust his guidance, and watch yourself grow from an overwhelmed pre-med student into the future medical student you’ve worked so hard to become. I will forever be grateful for him. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! Thank you Mina!

very nice and patient
Mina helped me review the circulatory system and he was very patient in helping me understand concepts I struggled with. He was very nice and someone I'll definitely come to for help again.
