Hi! I am Jade, a graduate of The Illustrious Clark Atlanta University. I am a woman of many gifts, skills, and interests; one of which is education. Since childhood, I’ve excelled in all of my courses and projects in a unique and creative way. My educational matriculation has gifted me with the love for receiving and giving knowledge through teaching and tutoring.

In high school, I gained teaching experience as elementary and middle school classroom assistant. After graduating, I was a teacher at the Boys and Girls Club and I volunteered with Imani For Us, a community service-based organization that increases family and community interaction through creativity. As an undergraduate student, I tutored my peers who desired a deeper understanding of particular subjects.

I also have experience working at a Montessori school where I was introduced to unique teaching methods that broadened my reach and gave me further insight into the minds of the youth.

Throughout my high school and undergraduate study, I have taken advanced math courses such as Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Personal Finance. I am also a Business Pathway Completer and a certified proficient user in Microsoft Excel.

I have always been a lover of science. In high school, I earned a ‘100’ in biology and pursued the field further as a Biology Major (before transferring to History) at my institution (where I maintained an 4.0 GPA). Courses that I’ve taken in relation to Biology and other sciences include: General Biology I and II, General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry, General Psychology, Genetics I, and Microbiology (all courses taken with lab).

History courses I’ve completed include Intro to African American Studies, Africana Women’s Studies, History of UnFreedom, World History, and United States History.
